Harvest Moon Paddle

The Full Moon nearest the autumnal equinox is named the Harvest Moon since, during this month, the Moon helps the harvest by providing more light at the right time.

Come out and meet fellow paddlers and kayakers and enjoy a beautiful paddle under the full moon. This is an easy paddle, but paddlers must have their own boat and have some experience paddling or kayaking.  (If you need to rent a paddleboard call Sally at 732-823-9642). Please bring food or drink to share at Maple Cove before the paddle. There is no limit on participants, all are guaranteed a spot on this paddle.

All boats MUST have a white light for the back of your boat. Use a flashlight tied to your boat, or you can buy a white light made for kayaks at West Marine in Eatontown or EMS on Rt 35. Everyone must wear a life vest.
