Spring Rejuvenation in Thailand! April 7-18th, 2018
Join us for our annual Spring Rejuvenation Yoga Retreat, this year heading to Thailand!
Rediscover yourself as you explore this magical land, full of history, beauty and ritual. Reconnect to you as we enjoy daily yoga and meditation, exploration and adventure, pamper yourself with a massage or two (or daily!!! They are sooo affordable), indulge in local cuisine, or even take in a cooking class. Relax and unwind on the palm-fringed beaches, explore the countryside by motorbike, visit majestic temples, rest in a meditation grove or partake in any number of available excursions.
April 7 – 10th
We will begin our trip in Chiang Mai, home to hundreds of elaborate Buddhist temples, its Old City still retaining vestiges of its ancient walls and moats. Explore ancient ruins and spiritual sites like the Big Buddha Temple.
Spend a day with one of the most important symbols of Thailand’s culture, history and society – the elephant. Learn what the majestic creatures mean to the Thai people as you feed, bathe and care for these rescued animals. Enjoy the night market, explore coffee plantations and other hidden gems Chiang Mai has to offer. For the adrenaline and adventure junkie, partake in white water rapids tours and more.
April 11 – 18th
We will adventure to Ko Samui, Thailand’s second largest island, known for its palm-fringed beaches, coconut groves and dense, mountainous rainforest. Everything from tucked away meditation groves to posh spas, from majestic temples to sleepy fisherman’s villages, from bustling nightlife to stunning waterfalls leading to secluded and pristine beaches… this island holds something for everyone.
Sally and Sybil will guide you through morning meditation, 2 yoga classes daily, and optional workshops in yoga nidra, pranayama and in depth meditative practices.
During your free time you can indulge in a transformational workshop, rest on the beach or partake in a number of excursions and adventures including: a visit to landmark 12m-tall golden Big Buddha statue at Wat Phra Yai Temple, located on a tiny island connected to Ko Samui by a causeway, Bophut Fisherman’s Village, scuba dive at Turtle Island, horseback riding, massage, ziplining, swimming, SUP Yoga, visit the Secret Buddha Garden and so much more.
Enjoy the Thai New Year April 12 – 14th, complete with street festivals, light shows and a full immersion in Thai ritual and celebration.
We will return to Chiang Mai on the evening of the 17th to fly out of Chiang Mai Airport April 18th
Guests will stay in a beautiful boutique hotel, Eden Bungalows in Ko Samui. This boutique features an outdoor pool with integrated Jacuzzi, two restaurants Thai and European cuisine, a bar with billiards, and is situated conveniently in the heart of Fisherman’s Village.
